Joy drops…

Lots of them today…

Some order back in my life- a small step toward feeling better…clean kitchen and family room!

Progress on laundry and a clean bedroom!

My morning started with some time with Jesus questioning what yesterday was all about… I’m still not sure I have any answers to that- and maybe never will, but God sure had a very clear message for me this morning and it came, not at all surprisingly, through music.

I had to go pick up the birthday cake for today’s family birthday party and when I got in the car this song came on and I laughed a little at the irony because of the conversation I had been having with Jesus earlier.

I’ve shared it before- it’s called Brighter Days by Blessing Offor. The first line: “I know there’s gonna be some brighter days…”

God’s been using this song to speak joy into my heart and here it was, the first thing this morning after our chat… joy drop…

Immediately after that song came this one:

It’s called All Joy no Stress by Rhett Walker. The first line…”I got that Good News smile on my face. I got the healing that the world can’t erase… all Joy no stress no worries I’m blessed”

I literally laughed outloud…Joy drop

Ok Jesus…I see what you’re doing here…

But wait, there’s more…the very next song is called The Commission by Cain – it’s a song written as if Jesus is speaking to you…

First line “See my hands and look at my feet it’s ok if it’s hard to believe- I have faith that you will do greater things- go tell the world about me…”

Joy drop…

Now the tears came…I hear you Lord!

Well…He wasn’t done yet…

Next came Riley Clemons song ”For the Good”.

This may be a stretch for some to believe but I believe God uses music to speak directly to my soul. Today this is what He said… and as my hubby said, your ears were open to hearing Him today Laur…

My Heavenly Father spoke to me through the words of others today…
